Aerial Dragnet (2017 - 2020)

The Aerial Dragnet program aims to achieve the technically difficult goal of detecting and tracking small unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in urban terrain. The program seeks innovative technologies to provide persistent, wide-area surveillance of all UAS operating below 1,000 feet in a large city.

MetaImager - Metamaterial Transceiver Based Compressive RF Imaging System (2014 - 2017)

Developement of a metasurface aperture 3D MIMO mmW imager for security-screening applications. The system consists of 72x receivers (RX) and 24x transmitters (TX) operating in full MIMO mode using orthogonal coded active illumination (OCAI).
